I'm having a difficult time making work this sensor: I'm trying to read it with a rs485 to ttl converter and arduino nano but the sensor is not working fine. It works when reading just 1 of the 7 parameters but when using more it gives incorrect readings. I've been reading a lot in forums and it seems to be a pretty usual problem but could't solve it yet. Required system consists of a pressure sensor and a DC motor which will be able to connect to the Internet through WiFi connectivity and send the measured pressure values to a server. User will be able to observe the values through a web UI (dashboard). User should also be able to start and stop the motor which is connected to device in addition with the sensor. The system will measure the pressure continuously and start the pump automatically above a certain pressure value and stop the motor when the pressure gets below the preset value. Hi, I currently have a circuit that has manual 'switches' in it. Currently there is a piece of plastic that spins around on a shaft, hit hits two manual contact switches depending on which way it is spinning. This is not a good design as each time it hits the switch it 'slows' it down from spinning. So we want to redesign this system as basic as possible using HALL SENSOR. So it detects the spinning, which way it is spinning, then triggers opto isolator output depending on which way it is spinning, clock wise or anti clock wise. New circuit board will - Detect spinning - Detect clock wise or anticlockwise - Send output depending on direction to an opt isolator. (contact with ice on sensor should be for 20 seconds incase false reading) After that it should activate a relay that controls the ice drop until it's finished. After ice dropped the sensor disconnects and relay switches off.
