I would like to have a vb.net function to normalize an audio file. For example. If you pass in the local path of the source file and a destination local path the file will be copied from the source to the destination at a higher volume (will be normalized). You can use the Naudio sample asp or toolkit to accomplish the task. ([login to view URL])

Hello. Are there any constraints on the format of the input file? For example, given, say, a .wav mono pcm 8KHz, should part of the normalisation process be to also standardise the output file to, say, 16KHz pcm stero wav? Or should output file format simply match input file format with volume adjusted?
