Implement an IOT project to establish communication between PLC's and a SQL database.

I can real time build the IoT device by using Arduino UNO/MEGA or Raspberry PI to send data from PLCs to SQL Server Database by using an web API or Windows application. I am basically Visual Basic developer to build any kind of Windows application. Have more than 15 years of experience on Computer Language and Digital Electronics.

I have some questions about your project: - which PLC do you want to use (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, etc.), which SQL server do you use? - do you consider using some existing software or should it be written from scratch? - how would you like to store data in database?
