Modify rig of tentacle in cinema 4d

I have rigged octopus tentacle model and i need it to be adjusted so the tip would be more bendy. Please see attached image. I suggest to add more loops to the tip geometry and more bones to the sceleton. Please provide links to similar work in cinema you have done in the past in your reply.
