Scope of the work:
1- design the look and feel a website that is visually appealing.
2- create/customize an open source content management system (CMS) that is reliable and with support base worlwide, and will permit non-technical staff to instantly update web site content, add module or sections and integrate web 2.0 elements, such as but not limited to, user tagging content commenting, syndication, social networking, peer-to-peer sharing, blogging and wiki;
3- convert substantial amounts of existing content to new site
4- provide search capacities using key words or phrasing that will identify content from through-out the site.
5- incorporate the following capacities to the website:
- embedded discussion forum tied to a ListServ/Mailing list
- online library
- projects page, with "restricted" sections for certain users
- "restricted" wiki sections for internal collaboration / sharing
- Photo album
- syndicated calendar
- RSS feeds
- advanced search engine
- content forwarding and commenting
- content archiving
- administrative and user-level access
6- implement tracking application to produce user defined site log report to measure web visitor behavior and improve web site performance and ability.
