Should messages support adding a picture to it? What should be done with this picture, when there is no MMS service? And also, what format should the report be in? Is it a "standard" report exportable to pdf, excel or similar, or just a form with some counters? I have divided the work I imagine into 3 different milestones. Hi, I've just completed an SMS timesheet application (employees clock-in and clock-out of jobs using their mobile phones) that used Outlook extensively (receiving SMSs converted to emails) and Excel VBA to record the messages (job codes within the message text) and timesheet entries (message times) - please see my Profile for the feedback (accessible by clicking my username System3000). I also have two postgraduate qualifications. Your project will therefore be straightforward to implement. I propose the following: 1. Screens for entering your numbers, contact details, and groups (this data will be stored in XML files behind the scenes). 2. A send message screen (to contact or group), with message length indicator (for split-message indication), immediate or schedule option (and eventually media upload for MMS in the future). 3. A scheduled message screen to view future message deliveries (also stored in an XML file in case the application/machine is shutdown). 4. A message log screen, e.g. for sent/failed status. 5. An extensible design: a) XML format for the backing store allows the easy addition of new data/attributes/properties (e.g. more contact groupings) b) A separate class module for the SMS web service API which can be used in the future for other SMS functions. c) Well structured and commented code for future development. 6.
