Hello!
I am a proofreader and copyeditor who works primarily with translated texts and texts written by nonnative speakers of English. As such, I am very attentive to sentence structure, syntactical flow, and potential logical errors in a text. I would like to take on your project!
I will review the full text several times, scanning for logical, grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors. I will correct any errors using Microsoft Word's review function, so you can easily track my work. If you wish, I can also draw attention to areas that lack clarity, consistency, or flow, and suggest alternate phrasings for you to use as you see fit. I will keep you updated on my progress throughout.
Please contact me to discuss further details!
I have included a sample of my work below.
Sincerely,
Breann
WHY LITERATURE AS CURRICULUM?
There's a lot to learn in every book you read. There are dozens of possibilities in a little story book like "Are You My Mother". Imagine how many more there are in a historical novel. There are opportunities for studying history, geography (both political and physical), art, music, science and historical figures. A good story shapes us.
There is a natural draw to a good book. Like a meal, a book acts as a magnet to gather people together. Oh, the trips you'll take together with every new novel! If we choose well, our kids will be begging us to read to them. Not only will they get a great literary education, you will too.
