Hola, Yo he actualizado muchas tiendas a la versión 1.7 y todas sin contratiempos ni problemas de pérdida de datos. Yo instalo una copia en una URL aparte donde hago la actualización sin poner fuera de servicio tu tienda. Una vez todo está listo, transfiero todo a la URL original. Puedo hacerlo en un tiempo corto y estar disponible aún después de finalizar para solucionar cualquier cosa que de problemas.
