Develop a wordpress time tracking plugin

The purpose of this project is to develop a Wordpress plugin to track and manage Team Member working time, personal vehicle mileage reimbursement and paid time-off. The main functionality will be as follows: 1. Team Member Time & Mileage Entry a. Clock-In button to time stamp the date and time they started work b. Clock-Out button to time stamp the date and time they stopped work i. When clocking out, they will be asked if they have any personal mileage to report, they will enter the miles and a brief description of the mileage. c. Log Personal Mileage Button to log mileage and brief description i. Fields would be date (defaulted to today), miles and description. d. View Time Sheet Button to open Team Member Time Sheet e. Log Unpaid Time Off i. This button should be available for salary employees only and will deduct from their standard hours 2. Team Member Time Sheet a. The time sheet will list each day in the pay period with the number of hours, type of hours (Regular, Overtime, Holiday and PTO) b. Personal Vehicle Mileage by Day i. A button should be available to open a pop-up with the descriptions submitted with their mileage c. Team members will have the ability to edit their time and mileage if there was a mistake made, edits should be flagged to identify edited vs. clocked time. d. Pay period should be defaulted to current, with the ability to view previous periods 3. Paid Time Off (PTO) a. Each team member will have settings in admin to setup PTO accrual based on how long they have been employed i. (10-days per year, accrued at the beginning of each pay period) b. Request PTO button to submit a request to their manager i. PTO Request Alert sent to manager via email with a link to approve ii. PTO Request Alert sent to team member via email once approved, or denied. c. View PTO Balance button to view how much PTO they have earned, taken and remaining i. Future PTO Projection option to view how much PTO they will have earned by a future date d. View PTO Requests button to view their requests and status (Pending, Approved, Not Approved) 4. Management Dashboard a. Managers need the ability to view each of their team member’s time sheets, edit and approve. b. Manager edits should be flagged in a different color to identify that time or mileage was edited by manager c. Once a time sheet is approved, it is available for export by admin i. Alert sent via email to admin once time sheet is approved d. Pending PTO Requests with the ability to Approve, Edit or Deny e. View team member’s PTO balances and run future projection f. Enter PTO on team member’s behalf 5. Admin Dashboard a. View, edit and approve all areas outlined above for all team members b. Export Time Sheets option to a CSV file for import to PayChex Payroll c. Team Member Settings i. Manager Assignment ii. Hourly or Salary 1. Hourly Rate 2. Monthly Salary iii. PayChex data fields for CSV export iv. PTO Accrual 1. Number of Hours per year 2. Accrual Start Date 3. # of hours to carry-over to next year
