The following is a request for an experienced Apple app designer to develop a concept app that would transform the iPhone into a digital pocket scale that would weigh ounces and grams (up to 500 grams). The concept app would allow for iPhone users to place small items (e.g. jewelry) directly onto the iPhone's touch screen to have weighed in ounces and/or grams. The app is envisioned to be similar to the iPhone's calculator app in that when the user rotates the iPhone, to enlarge the viewing screen, they would have a touch screen option of weighing their items in either ounces and/or grams (up to 500 grams). This is a straight forward app and I look forward to reasonable bids from talented app developers with Apple app development experience. Hi. This is magnificent idea, and after first investigation i am sure that is definitely possible. The main question is precision. What is the degree of precision that the application is supposed to achieve? That said, if it is supposed to go to Apple Store, for general public, it needs not to be a scientific grade solution. I have already an idea how to calibrate it. Will do it for little money, it's an interesting challenge. But it will take a lot of time to do all research work.... Please consider my bid. C/C++, IPhone, SOAP on iPhone, RDBMS, GUI, Apple referenced, Apple Store submitting, France based. Quick delivery, documentation, strong QA, configuration management etc...
