Web Site Design - .psd - Mic

Create a home page design (.psd) that must: - be simple and not symmetrical and interesting - be in .psd format with all layers - use the colors that I will provide (see [login to view URL]) - be designed for 1024 x 768 Design goal: The goal of the site is to promote the Micronesia as a place to purchase products and as a tourism destination by focusing on the unique culture and crafts of each of the states in Micronesia. Specifically, the design should show micronsia to be: - authentic - unique - distinctive - exotic - cultural - bring out the unique flavor of each state The Title and Tag Line of the organization must be in the upper left corner and be a visual focal point. Title - Micronesia Marketplace Tag Line - Places, products and people of micronesia Colors: Bold, tropical colors - no pastels. I am attaching a photo called COLORS.jpg. Use the colors within that photo. The client prefers: - the collage effect, and asymmetry (off-center focus). The images should have a focal point of the products, with the people to represent the culture and the authenticity and the islands to represent the beauty. please call your file Mic_v0.psd. The primary navigation will be the names of the islands: Palau Yap Chuuk Pohnpei Kosrae Marshall Islands There will also be two small text boxes - one called The Islands and one called The Markets. I am attaching: - sample image from Pohnpei. The goal with the images is to feature the products (pepper, pearls and handicrafts for Pohnpei), and use images of people and the beautiful land to tie it together. Please contact me with questions. DEADLINES The initial design is due on July 21. There will be one round of revisions before I show it to the client on the 23, another round before the 26, and the last round of revisions on the 27th of July. If this timeline does not work for you, please do not bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PC, MAC, Photoshop CS2 or lower
