Access 2000 query - Repost

We have an Access 2000 database that has a table called "1996 - CURRENT AGREEMENTS & CONTRACTS" and Form called the same "1996 - CURRENT AGREEMENTS & CONTRACTS" the Table contains a field called "Full Year" (YYYY) format and a field called "Con#" (001, 002 etc...) Format. When a new record is created using our form the user must select from a drop down box between Current Year or Upcoming Year. If they select Current year we need it to lookup in the Table all the current year entries i.e. 2002 and then look at the LAST "Con#" for the "Full Year" and then return the Next Con# (Con# stands for Consecutive number) so if the Last 2002 entry has a con# of 025 the next Con# should be 026. If they select Upcoming Year then it will do the same but for the NEXT year i.e. 2003 lookup the Con# and add 1 to it. We have the event started however we neen it to retreive the Con#. ## Deliverables Deliverables: Please see the Attached file as this has the Code we have so far and where we need the NEW code placed. The First coder with the solution will receive the bid. All that we need is the "ConsNum" see in the code to retrieve the NEXT Con# based on the Year chosen. We have a message box to test this.
