67042 Free Press Release Service

We are looking to create a free press release distribution service, a combination between [login to view URL] [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] The project is relatively simple, a member database with options to submit, managed, edit and print out content, managed via a backend interface. Looking to be written in PHP OR Perl with a MySQL backend database and a simple design like [login to view URL], html is fine, no design work really. All press releases are written to a static page and PDF document. All RSS are written to a static XML page. Updated when admin approves releases. Consider PDF::Create for PDF files. RSS Feed includes title, link and description to press release. Description based on press release headline. There are three sides to the service - Visitor Similar to [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] - the home page should be a list of the most recent 25 press releases and a left hand side bar with the options and all the top level categories. When a category is clicked on, a static page for that category is loaded with the most recent press releases for that category. RSS Feed, for the last 10, 25 and 100 press releases, by category, by MSA and by Country. A separate RSS feed available for each one of these options, similar to [login to view URL] - Each RSS feed is a static page, updated as the press releases are approved by the admin. Option to search through press releases by raw text, category, MSA, country or date ranges Email press release option on every press release page. List of top level categories on right column. Printer friendly version of press release News notification option similar to [login to view URL] - Member Signup process. After signup, the members are emailed a confirmation link. They must validate to register account. Login page, password recovery. Add / Edit Company Information - Can not add press release until company information has been updated Date of release option for future releases, can be managed with cronjobs. Manage / Edit existing press releases. Once edited, requires admin approval. Company information should include Company Name, Website, Stock Symbol, MSA, Contact Name, Email, Phone, Fax, Address, Industry, Company Description, Country Submitted articles shall include Headline, Media Contact [ pre populated from members contact information ], Article Body, URL, Uploaded Image Preview, Submit article option - Admin Validates Submitted Press Releases, when a press release is approved, a member email is sent out with the notice that the press release was approved a link to the static page.
