The freelancer could easily pull 200 or so recipes from meta search engines. we will tell you which ones to take. Good models on how this works can be found on [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] Along with the voting feature, a time function should be enabled so that the most popular recipes are not always on the front page. user should be able to see each other's comments about a certain recipe at a specific time and comments have the feature to be collapsed and opened at will by users. Again reddit and digg use this algorithm. we will have a rolling page of popular recipes on the front page of the site. a search function in the site And finally, within the recipes there will be some variables that could be edited by the users if they register. This is similar to how Wikipedia works. We will tell you how the parts that can be changed are chosen. users will be able to upload pictures, videos and links to youtube and blogs, there will also be a chat function between the members of the community Again most of the work for this site is already available freely on the net, the freelancer needs to adjust it slightly. the freelancer will create 300 fake accounts to get site going, vote on some recipes, make comments etc etc within the site This is not the final description. more details will be added later. pm me if you need more specific details
