Custom E-Commerce Site

This project will require the full development of an ecommerce solution (read: NO OSCommerce) that integrates with a custom, existing point-of-sale system developed by us. This project will be required to run in PHP 4 and MySQL 3.23. This project's database schema has already been developed specifically for its needs, and the completed code must be made to work with our schema. Attached is a detailed explanation of the features that need to be developed for this project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Items are unique and therefore, more than one person should not be able to have them in their shopping cart at a given time. Integration with an [login to view URL] Internet Merchant Account through SSL within the site- third party credit card systems are not acceptable for this project. Integration with Fedex APIs to check shipping rates before the purch ase is made. This will be based on the criteria of the item's estimated dimensions and weight. Coupon system- We wish to automatically generate unique coupons and have their value applied towards the user's total sale. Coupons should be able to be generated manually as well, by selecting a value and any criteria- Example, 10% off purchases of $400 or more.
