updating prices of products in virtuemart

Hello. I need to populate my web shop with a lot of products from different suppliers. Example: VM category:Computer division;components;harddisk; Suppliers of the products: 5 Number of items in the category: 80 Now my first problem is that i am using csv to import the products, but the ordering in excel takes time and also i cannot add pictures (because they are not on the server and i dont have the link to add) and i also have to setup filters for each product, so i have to insert products manually one by one. The second problem is maintaining the prices. I would like to have a program or excell or some feature to use the excell worksheet the supplier send me with new price list to compare with the prices on my webpage. I would like that program would ream the excell document from before and the new one and warn me of the prices going up or down. For all of the products on the site i can use the same number for the product as the supplier in the excell sheet. I would also like to have an option if a product price went up, to change the price on the page on the fly. Besides looking and warning me for the price change i would need to change the prices for the web shop on the fly...either in the excell sheet or somewhere as to not need to open in VM each product and manually change the price. Basically i need something that will make the price changing and having a lot of products on the page managable. I get excell lists of products with prices from different suppliers. They can have same items, but i would like the program to differentiate which products are on the web page from the unique number from the supplier that would match the SKU on the web shop. If there is a better or easyer way, please let me know. The thing should be firstly tested before implemented on the live server. Please send me the reply with the possible solution of the problem and how it would work. Thanks
