This project is reposted as the old seemed inactive. For a project I need a Windows application with a USB interface to an external device using serial communication. For the windows application the user interface has to be made where users can add and remove device names in a list. These are stored on the device and on local disk so when the user starts the application again, the list is recovered. Some other functions must be created in the user-interface as well. I prefer C# in Visual studio 8

i have understud that you have some hardware connected to a pc through a serial port emulation using usb. so the pc is recongnizes it as a COMx port but the wiring is USB. And you neen that the software syncs a list of something that is stored in your hardware and in the PC. If I haven't understood it ritght please clarify. I have 10 years of experience with hardware developments and also I have 3 years of experience developing .Net user interfaces. I have developed interfaces for GPS devices, measurement instrumentation and robots.
