I have changed my number and have no access to my WhatsApp backup. There are important memories that I need. I only have my google drive email address and password but no longer the phone number. I read that I can not restore the backup without the old number with the backup was created. I hope someone can help me anyway! Email and password for google drive is available. hi there. I want to attempt this project. It looks like a good challenge. I do think that if we are able to retrieve the backup itself from google drive that there are ways and means to AT LEAST extract the messsages etc. I will let you know in the morning. But please do send me a message sp that I can communicate with you. Update: As it turnsout there POSSIBLY is a way to do this. Its quite a hack to get the content from google drive. And even if we should succeed..lets hope the data insntt double encrypted Maurice Marinus
