This will give you some insight on what to expect from the person you are getting ready to work with. This is extremely insightful with the numerous bids you have received. The database you attached is the laccdb. If you could attach the accdb I would be happy to review and give you some thoughts. From your description I am thinking we need to be sure to Relationships. What I mean is set up tables for Driver, School, Pupil, Maintenance, Route, and Bus. Seperating these will make archiving and adjustments easier and faster. Then using Queries, forms, and Reports we can merge these tables seamlessly. For the past 15 years I have worked with Excel/MS Access and 11 years with MS SQL Server 7.0 and 2005. I have been doing my contracting work with VWorker/Freelancer for the past 3 years; during that time I have completed 70 projects ranging from Excel/Access VBA to SQL Server database constructions. In my experiences over the past 3 years I know how daunting it is to try and describe what you are wanting along with sifting through numerous bids.
