I have written a code in MATLAB for calculating BER in FFT and wavelet based OFDM . Theoretically wavelet based systems are better than FFT based systems,but i am not getting such results. The results displayed should be as follows:the BER for wavelet should reduce as SNR increases as compared to FFT based OFDM system. Hi I had developed CMFB based OFDM systems and I can give some tips to you, I'll have no time to solve your task so I'm just trying to help you. Take this into consideration: - You're applying convolutional code. If you're trying to evaluate dwt x dft, why use the ecc? Just keep the system without it. - You are not taking the parity bits in the EbN0 calculation, this will make your BERxSNR figure wrong. - Theoretically OFDM will have the same performance as single carrier system over AWGN, dwt will have the same behaviour? As I've said I'm just pointing to some possible error sources for you. Best regards Euripedes
