This would be no problem for me. I am a Norwegian studying computer science in my 3rd year. I am never sloppy, and I never bid on a job unless I know I can finish it. I can do with with external libraries, or I can use only the standard java api. Maybe the latter is the best option if the aim is for you to learn. It is your decision. I will also include detailed comments, more than usual, since you want to learn from my code.
