Hello, I own some animations that a designer created for me. Her tools generated .mov files with the h.264 codec. I need to play the animations in a Java application through the JMF (Java Media Framework) API. The problem is that this programming toolkit is very old and does not support this video format.
Following are the JMF supported formats:

I tried dozens of different conversions in order to try to find one that JMF likes. But JMF usually returns the following error when it fails to play the video:
"Bad header in the media: moov atom not present".
It suggests that modern video formats are no longer including the moov atom in the header of the video, and probably JMF requires it. Sorry, I do not have any knowledge about this particular subject.
I have spent quite a few months fighting against those video conversion issues, but I have not found yet a good solution. Until now I have been using the SUPER converter ([login to view URL]), which is an excellent tool for making conversions. When I convert from .mov h.264 into .mov h.263, then JMF can play the video correctly! The only problem is that it does not support converting high resolution videos (my videos are 1280x800).
I purchased VideoPad ([login to view URL]), which is also and excellent tool for video edition. Unluckily, they have deprecated the h.263 support which they had once supported in the past (currently only h.264).
I need the help of an experienced professional who can recommend which software should I get/purchase now. I am attaching as an example of one of the videos that I need to convert.
Thank you!
There are professional softwares available...i have been doing this for last five years converting broadcast materials into various formats like h.264 / h.263
