I am looking for a Electro-Mechanical Engineer with renewable energies background in order to design a small wind turbine for household use. The freelancer will carry out the 3D modelling and DMU, FEM analysis, BOM, 2D manufacturing drawings and support services while manufacturing the wind turbine. Conceptual designs with recyclable materials and reuseable components will be positively considered.

Hi, I have designed a wind turbine using an Aircraft NACA section twisted to catch the wind. It was made from fiberglass and was a prototype to produce 1kW of electricity with a view to increasing the capacity. It was manufactured in Serbia and passed the wind tunnel testing with flying colours. Regards Sam

I have designed and built several different types of turbines for residential and commercial use. There are several small scale wind generators in use on ships and boat around the world that I designed and can leverage that design on your project. I have a M.S. in fluid dynamics, and have been designing fluid flow systems for over 13 years. For this project I will be using ANSYS Fluent or ANSYS CFX, depending on your needs, and Solidworks for the drafting.
