I'm on the hunt for a talented graphic designer to create lively, engaging cartoon characters in an animated style. For this project, the emphasis is on interactivity. You will be designing and drawing the front of a cereal box. I already know how I would like the cereal box to look. Cereal is called auntie Janet’s breakfast tarts. auntie Janet will look like everyone’s favourite auntie middle age and plus size. The image in my head will have auntie Janet’s at the front of the cereal box in a kitchen and she will have a tray of tarts fresh out the oven and a bowl of milk with some jam tarts in. Janet needs to look friendly and loveable. The box needs to be colourful but not to crazy. This cereal is an age range of 5-10 year olds. The tarts will be strawberry, try not to make the pastry look like dough pastry as it will be made from wheat grains but in tart pasty style with strawberry jello jam in the middle. Key objectives include: - Designing characters that will interact with an audience. - Maintaining a distinct, unique animated style. Skills and experience vital for this project: - Profound experience in cartoon character design is a must, particularly in an animated style. - Proven skills in designing interactive characters. - A rich portfolio showcasing previous similar work. - A keen understanding of the different aspects to creating characters that are not just visually appealing, but also engage effectively with an audience.
