Barangay Batang 2nd World Fiesta

Barangay Batang 2nd is a small barrio located at the mouth of Pampanga River emptying into Manila Bay. Our town will be celebrating a World Fiesta on 13-14 June 2015. Townmates from all over the world are planning to return to their hometown to help celebrate the Fiesta. The project will develop a website/blog that shows in narrative, graphics, and pictures what the barrio has to offer in terms of people, location and tradition. The website/blog will be the virtual tambayan of the townmates to be able to chat, discuss the plan for the Fiesta, see pictures of the barrio and its current population and old ways. The websites/blog will be the platform to use for fundraising: it will have a place for paypal/credit card payment for raising funds; a video streaming or chat window; a place to showcase the LGU official and the World Fiesta Committee personnel; a place to reminisce (through pictures and videos) about the old barrio and how it has changed today.
