Thank you for looking at our bid. Not sure about the OS of your VM (VMware Linux), maybe any SFTP client (Pythion - Paramiko, or PHP etc) can be used. Scheduled using cron for hourly file uploads. Hello, I AM a UK C++ Systems and software engineer. vast experience. You need an SDTP compatible commndline client, that can be scheduled to upload files to your SFTP server. Or, I can write you one - CUSTOM designed and developed - to accept files names, timings(1 per hour) etc, using C++, and you can simply let it be scheduled using Task Scheduler(ideal choice), or run it as a service(not the best choice though) . Can even develop it so that it runs in a loop, and sends a chosen file - based on some choices/rules- every hour? Cheers Dinesh

SFTP itself uses an asymmetric algorithm to encrypt network traffic. Even if a hacker captured all the network packages, he could not decrypt it without your private key. So unless your private key got leaked, the transfer is secure. The files can also be manually encrypted before the transfer to make it more secure ( Need manual decryption on the destination VM of course). I can do all these steps described above based on my experiences. One thing I don't understand is why 1 file per hour? Is increasing or decreasing the speed required? Hello, I'm a certified Google Cloud Architect, have a +4 years of experience working with GCP. I can install a SFTP server and ensure the connection by using a secure password and also using firewall rules allowing the SFTP protocol communication between the source and destination, meaning only one host will be able to transfer files to the destination VM. I'm currently based in Europe, hence there is no problem with timezone. I do have questions like what and where is the source of the data which needs to be transferred to the VM? Why using a VM if you can store it on Google cloud storage? A cheaper and more reliable option in terms of storing data, since you don't need to worry about VM vulnerabilities and maintenance.
