I want to develop some ideas for a project that my niece is involved in. IN this first stage, this job is just a 20-30 min discussion as I would like some feedback and further ideas relating to how a device could be designed/engineered to measure the direction of water currents in the ocean in areas close to beaches (water comes in as waves, and then forms what are known as 'Rips' as water goes back out to sea) So some understanding of this issue will be required. It is more of a theoretical "what could be possible' conversation.
