30+ years Experienced Structural Engineer based in Brisbane, Australia. Lots of experience with design of bulk solids containers. I assume you are talking about crushed class or similar and not molten glass?

hi, please share tank Dia and height we can check failure by simulation in ansys software. we usually deal with this kind of problems and this can be solved by add sufficient stiffener and support arrangements​. once we do simulation it will be 100 % validate as safe for operation. . I NEED FOLLOWING DETAILS:- 1) Tank Dia , height 2) glass density or equivalent we weight in kg. 3) required factor of safety. 4) drawing for reference. for location of cleaning Nozzle / sight glass etc if any. awaiting for your reply. thanks, thanks.
