Build a USB 3.1 Type C SATA SSD PCBA

This job is for the schematic design, PCB layout, testing and physical debugging of a M.2 SATA based USB 3.1 bus powered USB type C product. You will be taking the product right through from initial circuit design through to fabrication, post assembly testing and physical board de-bugging if needed. The successful candidate must have a full license, and be highly competent in either: - Cadence - Altium Must have the following experience: - EEE degree or similar - Circuit and schematic design - High speed layout (10Gb/s +) - Have worked with USB 3.0 (ideally 3.1) controllers before - Differential pair routing - board level controlled impedance - board production and testing SOP - physical board de-bugging - Mass production quality control Ideally the candidate has also worked with ASMedia chipsets and their Taiwan based team. The ideal candidate has worked previously on USB type C products from design level forwards. If you have not yet worked on USB type C products you will need to have at least read both the USB type C connector specification and the USB 3.1 interface specification. You must provide evidence of your previous work and be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the USB type C and USB 3.1 specifications. We work on a quoted hours basis: for each stage of the work I will request an estimate for the number of hours a specific job will take. Rather than asking for a specific price to be hit, We cost control by ensuring each additional requested design change or addition is also quoted for in hours before work commences. We will be expecting you to help take this board through to production, including receiving and testing the first article inspection boards and writing a report on the board performance.
