Project for Sivaseshu31: Design and build a prototype of a 15W DC/DC converter 760V to 12V

The purpose of this project is to design a 760V to 12V DC/DC converter to be used as an integrated auxilliary power supply within various products operating from a nominal 760 VDC source. A possible converter design could be based on off-line power switches but with the main difference that the input voltage is higher than what most off-line switchers on the market can handle. A staged project setup with the milestones: 1) concept proposal, 2) prototype design, 3) prototype test and 4) optimized design is proposed.
