C++ Implementation of Phase Based Motion Magnification Algorithm

I have experience with opencv from a previous robotics project and extensive experience with both matlab and c++ from other projects, I could provide some code from these projects if you are interested. Hi!! I just recently did a task involving OpenCV and Python involving training a Haar Cascade on laptop cam feed and recognizing object. The same is doable using C++, but a bit lengthy and messy. So, I'd like to know your motivation, if anything strict, behind using C++. I also work with C++, but clients are quite less unless we want to port it to a hardware level runtime, not on a computer (as in your case), so.. And, I've MATLAB 2013, so I hope your algo is doable, and readable unless there's a inbuilt function usage that's only found after 2013...hope not :-) I have, separately, done phase based motion detection in MATLAB, about an year ago,,so I could make use of that, in that case, I guess...let's see... I have been working with matlab to c++ conversion before. Have also worked with parallel computation (multi process) development for some years.

I've hands on machine vision/image processing algorithms experience. And total 10 years of experience in C/C++/C#/Algorithms . I've done implementation of algorithms based on research papers for following : background learning, object construction, illumination removal, shadow removal, object classification (Human /non-Human), object tracking, object class recognition algorithm by using HoG features, image registration etc I am planning to use openCV for all the imaging related operations and highgui/media io to display the results.
