Advanced C++ Flood Discharge Simulation

I'm looking for an experienced C++ programmer to develop a comprehensive flood discharge simulation. This program will model 24-hour flood discharge in an irrigation barrage, guiding overflow above high flood levels through head regulators into canals, and subsequently into a pond. The program should be designed to handle high range water flow scenarios, meaning it must be capable of managing extreme conditions. Key features: - Inputs: The program should be able to take the following inputs: coordinates of flood hydrograph, flood level, irrigation barrage capacity, canal capacity, reduced level/elevation of every section, pond capacity, and drainage channel. - Outputs: Outputs of the program should include: time taken for water diversion, water level at each section of the barrage, the reduced peak of flood discharge downstream due to water diversion, and the time lag to achieve the reduced peak. Skills and Experience: - Demonstrable experience in C++ programming, particularly in dealing with fluid dynamics/ water resource related projects or related simulations - Familiarity with irrigation systems and flood management is a plus - Strong problem-solving abilities in the face of complex data processing tasks.
