C++, COM Software Engineer/ Developer (India)

Objective: As a Software Designer, you will deliver software modules by ensuring detailed design and implementation of those modules. You will interface with Software Architect, Software designers and V&V designers. Educational Requirements: BE Degree in Engineering- IT, CS, ECE & EEE. Responsibilities: Design and deliver the Software modules non related to SIL4 functions: Applies Software processes & standards required for SW design Contribute to the elaboration of Software specification & architecture, in collaboration with the SW architect Realizes development of Software modules Realizes the Software modules detailed design & coding Resolve design issues Prepares test cases and performs Software module tests and verifications of his deliverables Keeps a strong link with the SW architect, HW designer and V&V departments, through the whole SW design cycle Highlight design issues and propose / discuss with the lead engineer to identify and implement the definitive solution. SW module Integration and functional testing TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 5-10 Years of strong experience in developing complex software modules in non-SIL4 functions. Collaborative at workplace and actively engage in the development process spread across different geographical locations. Proven Ability to develop SW modules as per their SIL levels Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing Language Skills: Programming / technologies: C, C++, Scripting languages (VB Script), COM/DCOM Database: MS SQL Server IDE: Visual Studio 10 and later versions. Operating System: Microsoft Windows Model based design Protocols – TCP/IP, SNMP. Debugging tools: WinDBG, PerfMon, GFlags.
