The features needed in the application are as follows: - Time Tracking: The application will need to accurately track worker hours. The working hours should be logged using GPS location tracking technology and also have a manual entry option. - Payroll Calculation: The application needs to calculate payroll based on the logged working hours of the workers. - Worker Database: The application should maintain a comprehensive database of the workers which includes their personal details and work history. - Supervisor Location Tracking: The system needs to have a feature that tracks the current location of the supervisors at the work-site. MY OWN DESCRIPTION : Project Description: Introduction: As a reputable labor contractor providing and managing a workforce of around 500 construction workers for esteemed companies like L&T, Tata Projects, specializing in infrastructural projects such as bridges, tunnels, and roads in the Mumbai region, there arises a need for efficient attendance and payroll management. To streamline this process, we aim to develop a dedicated mobile application tailored to the unique requirements of the construction industry. Project Overview: The project entails the development of an attendance management application designed specifically for construction workers. The app will enable efficient attendance tracking, payroll generation, and reporting functionalities to facilitate seamless operations across multiple construction sites. Key Objectives: Attendance and Payroll Management: Enable construction supervisors to mark attendance and record working hours for workers at their respective sites. Automate the generation of daily and monthly attendance reports in PDF/Excel format for individual workers and groups based on client specifications. User Interface and Functionality: Supervisor Level: Supervisors will have access to a pre-fed list of workers at their assigned site. They can mark workers as present or absent for the current day and input the number of hours worked (including overtime) for the previous day. Admin Level 1: In addition to supervisor functionalities, Admin Level 1 users can manage worker data, adding new workers and deactivating terminated workers. Admin Level 2: Admin Level 2 users possess the ability to edit data submitted by supervisors and Admin Level 1 users within a specified timeframe. Manager: Managers have access to all functionalities of the aforementioned roles and possess additional capabilities such as editing data at any time and tracking the location of supervisors and admins. Technical Specifications: The application will be developed for Android devices. Implementation of a pin lock feature to ensure secure access to the application. Additional Features: Role-based Access: Implementation of role-based access control to ensure appropriate permissions for different user levels. Notifications: Integration of notification features to remind workers to log attendance and notify supervisors of any discrepancies. Data Security: Implementation of robust security measures to safeguard sensitive employee data. Offline Capability: Ensuring the application functions seamlessly offline and syncs data once connectivity is restored. Reporting: Comprehensive reporting features to generate attendance, working hours, and payroll reports for administrative purposes. Timeline: The project is expected to be completed within one month.
