Junior Accountant (30 hrs /week flexible schedule!) $600 per month

The entire team is overseen by the CFO who is a 15 years experienced CMA. We target for our Philippines team members to work 30 hours per week. There will be occasional spikes in work where more work required but we strive to make those as rare as possible. The role: You will primarily be assisting with AP bill processing, bank reconciliations, amazon settlement reconciliations & the preparation of draft month-end working papers for the Senior accountant. You will help in the preparation of month-end working papers and gathering the data for management reports. You should be a very organized individual who loves to optimize their work and continually looks for ways to improve themselves. Helpful Skills: Netsuite (This is a major plus if you have it) Amazon Accounting Shopify Accounting Paypal Accounting Graphic Design (Beautiful financial reports & working papers encourage confidence in the underlying data) Excel VBA Programming A solid home office set up (If you have dual monitors this is a major plus) Accounting experience & education Must haves: Willingness to work for a single employer exclusively Capacity to work additional hours if needed Exceptional attention to detail You must be inventive and proactive in designing and developing accounting procedures to continually streamline the department improving upon the review process and suggesting new ideas unceasingly. This is not a mindless data entry position but a high level accounting role where effective oversight of your team and contributions to the department as a whole are paramount.
