Account Manager (Social Media Agency for Travel Businesses)

Overview

Valerie Merut Consulting is seeking a hyper organized and detail-oriented Account Manager with experience in account management. In this role, you’ll be onboarding and offboarding clients, and staying on top of each account, keeping our small team organized, accountable, and on track with deliverables.

Schedule

- 28 hours per month (with potential for additional hours month to month)

- Monday - Friday

Location

- Remote

- Must be on EST or European time zone

Compensation

- Freelance

- $20-30 per hour

Job responsibilities

- Onboard and offboard clients using company processes

- Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates, renewal due dates as well as birthdays and anniversaries

- Stay on top of the daily and weekly operations and project statuses of all clients specific services, making sure they’re receiving timely and successful delivery of their service

- Coordinate with CEO, Community Manager, Junior Social Media Manager and clients, chasing approvals and assets as needed to facilitate fulfillment of services.

- Schedule / post approved captions and IG stories for all clients daily M-F

- Support Junior Social Media Manager and Community Manager as needed on an ad hoc basis to ensure smooth running of operations

Skills and abilities

- Expert in Dubsado, ClickUp, Slack and Google Workspace

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience with client success, project or account management

- Experience working with a small, remote team would be advantageous

- Hyper organized, detail-oriented and proactive in your communication, showing consistent follow through

- Not afraid to follow up with CEO, team, and clients

- Love keeping on top of things, keeping everyone organized, accountable, and on track
