My company has been running multiple servers on XenServer 6.2 for quite a while without difficulty. Recently, a power failure took down the server and required an fsck to be run on the disks. This was done after considerable work. I was left with a XenServer with no local storage and no virtual machines. I have, I believe, recovered the SR named "Local storage". I have a hetzner dedicated server, i have installed proxmox via usb and kvm. It runs, i can log in but i think its best if someone who knows proxmox well checks / configures it / gets it running properly for me. I usually use Xen. I have uploaded some of the iso images to the server already it needs to run both linux and windows vm's. I have setup the LVM, the network needs configuring,i have a Gb NIC card and 2 ips on the server that will need configuring for proxmox If its easier to wipe the server and start again i don't mind that either as this is a new install and no machines on it yet. We have SolusVM XEN VPS that we want to convert to KVM. Essentially we have 25 XEN VPS on one slave and have a new empty KVM slave we want to convert and migrate them to.
