Architectural Technician and Interior Designer

I have a qualification in Architecture, with 14 years' experience in AutoCAD 2D drawing and detailing. I also have 6 years' experience in Interior Design and furniture drawings. I have experience in and highly enjoy modelling up buildings in 3D and creating mesmerising renders for projects, using Revit Architecture, both interior and exterior. I can produce specification documents (sanitary ware, furniture, lighting) and interior design mood boards.

These two companies work in conjunction with each other on projects, one providing the architectural design side and the other providing interior design, so here I was able to dip my feet into the interior design sphere, which I enjoy. The architectural side also does a lot of work within the South African heritage council for historical and older buildings. A lot of work done is alteration and addition to existing buildings.

Monzeglio Cook & Gibson Architects

janv. 2010 - mai 2016 (6 ans, 4 mois)

I completed my university mandated internship here, and then stayed on once that was completed, and following graduation. I worked on drawings for large residential developments of off-plan houses, new bespoke houses, alterations and additions to existing buildings, as well as warehousing and office developments. I was first exposed to working with the South African heritage council and the preservation of historical buildings while working here.
