MS Access 2007 odbc reconnect and rename

Deliver 1 MS Access 2007 database and one txt document documenting your method. 1) Provide one MS Access Database 2) One text document explaining your method. 3) The code used to do accomplish this should be view-able and editable by anyone with MS access 2007 4) This should be thoroughly tested and be working on with mysql db tables on your test servers when you send. 5) Support for me getting it working for my own mysql databases should be included. Database one will have one form one form containing 1 button. You will create the database to contain a table (a local table called aaa_tbl_db_connection_info) aaa_tbl_db_connection_info will contain fields for db name server name user name and other fields required to connect so that I can put in a record for each database I want to connect to. Button will delete ODBC linked tables linked to remote servers then it will then look in the table aaa_tbl_db_connection_info table for db connection string info in record and reconnect with all table in that db. Then it will rename the newly ODBC connected tables with a suffix = to first 5 letters of server name and 3 letter suffix (table1 on [login to view URL] would be renamed to table1_serve_com) (Table99 on [login to view URL] would equal table99_hosta_biz ) Then it will go to record 2 and connect all tables in that db Then it will rename those (without repeating the rename step on the table linked from record one) and then go to record 3 and so on.. This db will be placed on several windows desktops using WinXP 32bit and Windows 2007 64bit These will already have mysql connector Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit MS Access 2007 Mysql connector 5.1 It will connect to several mysql databases running on different platforms. 1 linux hosted mysql db 1 remote xampp mysql db 1 LAN xampp mysql db The links below lead me to believe this is possible.
