I have done Assembly and Simulation of Robotic Arm using Catia as my first project in freelancer. Currently I am finishing 2 other projects ; on a pill dispenser and ; on a Breeding Box using SolidWorks. In my first project, I used the reverse engineering module of Catia, since the file provided was a parasolid file. I can work with multiple file formats for cad software(currently use a cad conversion software.). I can provide you 3d manufacturing file formats .3mf and 3d printing file formats and binary formats like stp, iges, parasolid etc Reverse Engineering can be used to sketch trace even jpg files onto a coordinate axis system. Various Views can be assigned to the drafts available and Cad file can be formed from it. Since an encrusting machine, has complex geometry, it would take time. But it can be done and delivered.
