Need an ASP.net site with SQL server moved from one IIS7 VPS to another IIS7 VPS (both Win Server 2008 R2)

(I'm posting this as a BACKUP in case the current developer cannot finish it - I'd like to have other bidders ready, who can start immediately.) We have a website that is on a VPS (with a few other sites). It's running flawlessly. We want to move it to another VPS (same setup). I have backed up all the website files via FTP and uploaded them to the new VPS I am new to ASP and IIS and SQL Server... but I THINK I found the only 3 databases associated with the site (all listed in [login to view URL]) and I backed them up to .sql files. I then uploaded those .sql files to a subdirectory on the new VPS. Then, I created 3 databases with the names of the originals through the WebsitePanel... and tried to 'restore' them from the files I placed on the server. It gave me a pile of errors and wouldn't work. I changed [login to view URL] to point to the new VPS (IP, user, pass, etc.)... but I am now in over my head. The Goal: Get the website functional on a temp URL (one of the dedicated IP addresses). It will require some SQL Server work, maybe some tweaking of the site config files... and maybe some IIS configuring (I don't know). I've talked to some database guys and they said this sounds like a simple job (I've really done most of the leg work)... but then again, I DON'T KNOW. I need this done NOW. Will pay a bonus for speed.

(General, file backup database of sqlserver have extend is .bak. Please check file backup again, if you use different tool SQL Server Management Studio.) 2. Restore a MS SQL database on your Windows VPS On a Windows VPS, you can restore a database with MS SQL Management Studio. Please follow these steps to complete a restore. Go to Start--->All Programs--->Microsoft SQL Server--->SQL Server Management Studio Expand Databases Click on New Query Run the following code: ALTER DATABASE [DB_NAME_HERE] SET SINGLE_USER WITH NO_WAIT Replace [DB_NAME_HERE] with the actual database name Click Execute Under databases, right click on the database. Select Tasks--->Restore--->Database Select the "From Device" button Click on the "..." Click on Add Navigate to your backup file and select it Click on Options on the far left. Select Overwite the existing database Click into the Restore As path Add an extra \ to each \ in the path. For example C:\Backup\MSSQL\Backups would become C:\\Backup\\MSQL\\Backups Repeat the above step for the Log path as well Click Ok Once the restore is complete, open New Query again Run the following code: ALTER DATABASE [DB_NAME_HERE] SET MULTI_USER WITH NO_WAIT Replace [DB_NAME_HERE] with the actual database name Click Execute Your database has now been restored and set back to multi-user mode.
