SQL Database - Fix Two Existing Apps & Create One New App

You’ll be working with: Windows 2008 R2 sever SQL 2005 Server MS Exchange Server 2010 PCRecruiter (Applicant Tracking Software) I have three small projects and would like to use only one person to take care of all three. You’ll be working on a remote level and are required to document any changes you make to the apps and database. Please provide a quote that covers all 3 projects below but in your message to me, split the total amount and let me know the charge for each project separately. PROJECT A We have an Applicant Tracking System ‘ATS’ with thousands of records. Some records have a link associated that belongs to a profile (the link is a webpage). We had a desktop app build that works as an additional feature (through API) directly within our ATS. It goes through each record, picks the link, copies/pastes some data into a specified database field within the ATS and enters the date the record is processed into another database field … and moves on to the next record to be processed. This app should allow to either work on non-processed records or on records that have not been processed since a specific date (date to be entered by the user). The problem is that this app was able to process a couple hundred records but now gets stuck and either tries to re-do already processed records or just quickly goes through the records (it’s supposed to run randomly & slowly) without grabbing the information and pasting it into the database field. PROJECT B The above referenced link should not be in our ATS twice, however, it does happen. Therefore, I’ll need an app that searches for these link doubles. Ideally, it would bring up the double records and within the ATS and offer a 'merge' (an existing function within the ATS), however, if this is too tricky, a general output onto a standard file (.xls, .cvs, etc.) would suffice. PROJECT C We had an app build within our ATS that sends out an automatic birthday-greeting by looking up the birthday field and then grabbing a specific template and making a note in the system. The app is completed; however, we had issues with the communication between the app and the MS Exchange server. (At that time, I didn’t have an IT guy who was able to help in resolving that issue; now I do and he can help with opening up ports, etc.) I just need for someone to look into this app and “connect the dots” so that we can let the birthday greetings begin. :)
