I am a Java programmer. 5 years experience in Java/PLSQL software. I can do the POS. I will do it in Java using the Vaadin framework, which provides a nice GUI and is simple in configuration. The requirements doesn't look complicated, but we need to talk about what do you want for every point, with the mean of do something that actually helps growing and organizing the business. 1. I would need to know what do you want for the tables: reservations, who is serving it, which plates ordered, etc. (I assume it will be related to the later billing) 2. We will have to discuss the billing, if you need some special formatting, paper size, etc. for your country in the bill, and how detailed the bill has to be. 3. Drawer: Managing a drawer can be simple: Cash when the local opens, transactions in the middle, and a final control(again using the billing of the day). But, have to talk about this too.
