Looking for experienced writer to create blog content related to our industry and products. Experience with WordPress preferred but not required. Compensation will be based on estimated time to complete 4 short (about 2~3 full pages (not 24 pt typeface either ;>) content plus images) articles per week with 1 longer article (4~5 full pages content plus images). Current writer takes 5~6 hours a week including page layout to complete these tasks. Not looking for someone to cut-and-paste from other sources on the internet. Some articles will be more technical nature (e.g. how does WordPress work) targeted towards non-technical audiences. Perfect part-time work for someone in-between assignments or positions. This is a work-for-hire (meaning we retain all copyrights) although you may reference the content you create on your resume or portfolio.
To get started, the initial project will be 20 articles - 16 short essays and 4 longer essays. You will have access to our guidelines and sample content before you begin. Drafts to be submitted in ODF format (LibreOffice).
Images will be from screenshots, self-created, or Creative Commons licensed content. You are not expected to be an artist, but if you need a simple flow diagram (for instance) you should be able to create one using GIMP/Inkscape.
Content must pass Copyscape check.
