Write a shell script (ksh shell) that does the following.
Needs done by end of this week.
Stage 1.
* Loads a [login to view URL] file with some global settings
example:
CreateNamedPort yes
CreateVirtualHost no
* Loads a [login to view URL] file
# put yes, if you wish to create all objects for this project
ProjectName1 no
ProjectName2 yes
* Depending on yes or no to previous properties, the script them "finds" various other properties files that exist in a directory structure as such
Example of files found
./ProjectName1/namedport/[login to view URL]
./ProjectName2/namedport/[login to view URL]
./ProjectName2/virtualhost/[login to view URL]
./ProjectName2/virtualhost/[login to view URL]
The script would ignore all files found in ProjectName1 as [login to view URL] has it set to "no"
Note: there are two virtualhost properties files. this means..the script needs to create two virtual hosts (see next stage)
* Now depending on how many properties files exist ...called "virtual host"..the script then calls another script (which you do NOT write)
so, it runs this command
ant createvritualhost -propertyfile "virtualhost.properties"
and then...
ant createvritualhost -propertyfile "virtualhost2.properties"
etc...
and
ant createnamedport -propertyfile "namedport.properties"
So, it "replace the namedport" from the name of the [login to view URL] file, into the name of the script to call "createnamedport"
In summary:
An intelligent script, that goes and find properties files in directories, and from the name of the property file, calls an ANT task. It will only find the files to used, based on some high level properties files, such as [login to view URL] and projects.property.
