Need to write a small scraper to archive a site which we have lost the database too! 1. Find all software titles: [login to view URL]://[login to view URL] (done! - see script) 2. For each software title, e.g. [login to view URL]://[login to view URL] extract: Title, Short-description (text), Long-description (HTML), Links (these vary depending on what the author had put in. See box on the right with "Vote" in it. Usually "contact-address", "home-page", but maybe "support" and "report a problem" - maybe others (e.g. compare right hand box with: [login to view URL]://[login to view URL]), Categories (a comma separated list of categories). Export each to a CSV for now.. See start of a Python script attached. Just haven't got the time to finish it! :)
