Hi. I would like to work on your project. The solution can be as following 1. script scan directory recursivelly and compare file names on this directory with destination structure and make decision about copying or not based on filename existance. Also it should have some logging functionality with rotation to simplify for debugging purpose. Another way may be calculating hash of file to avoid duplication and then make decision functionality will be based on hash values. This can be added to scheduler under system account as widely used approach 2. using robocopy utility which support mirroring option that does the exactly you want to do. But here we have less control under functionality Another problem you may run into is free size of destination storage , so powershell script may look better as we can configure it additionally to ignore some situation. Hello, The steps would be like this: 1. Enumerate all database with its properties, so we will get the backup path of each databases. It uses command: Get-SqlDatabase 2. then doing the sorting of the found backup files in order getting the last backup file. it uses the Commons File enumeration functions, such as ReadFileList($srv) 3. Then do the file copying operation using the command: Copy-Item That's it.

Solution: The PowerShell script will scan through the input directory for the input file pattern and copy them to the destination directory. While copying files script will write to log files for future references what has happened. I do have experience on automating many administrative activities using PowerShell.
