Objectives: Building bridges between Magento and Ingram Micro/Techdata through XML. We will create the items in the Magento with only SKU and UPC, integration will constantly lookup the item and match it to vendors’ item number(SKU), live prices, live inventory, MSRP, MAP, weight, dimensions using UPC. Then automatically import the remaining fields from IceCat’s open catalog. All codes should be packaged as an extension as we can easily install in our other Magento store Fields to Import: Products Title Description Product Specs Weight MAP MPN Manufacturer Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price Meta Title Meta Keywords Meta Description Images Vendors' SKU or Item Number Live Inventory level from each vendor ( This should be updated as frequently as possible, at least once a day.) Purchase Price from each vendor Category Product Reviews Product Tags Dimensions

Hello, The Phase 1 considerations and agreed scope are 1. A simple xml import script to import the Ingram micro products. 2. Import script to import the product details from IceCat's open catalog. 3. Setting up of the cron job to update periodically the product details from ingram micro and from icecat. scope include both Tech Data and Ingram Micro XML integration and ICEcat Live module (Extension option is not in the scope of the Phase 1.)
