Symfony PHP 1 and 2 coder for script modification

This project is about modifying the functionality of an existing script, free image host. Site has been made in PHP Symfony 1 and 2. Although the script already enables the creation of thumbnail plugs, the new functionality will modify the way thumbnail plugs are handled. Modifications: Attaching a drop down menu to the "Add new plug page" (check image [login to view URL]) of the admin panel that enables the webmaster to assign plugs to categories at the moment of adding new plugs, so plugs can appear under category pages too (plugs only appear on mainpage currently). If the webmaster doesn´t select a category for the plug when adding it, then those plugs appear only on mainpage. If the admin selects a category for the plug, then the plug appears on the category page. Adding a control named "Plug settings for home page:" (check image [login to view URL]) that will enable the webmaster to define and manage different subgroups of plugs separately to show on the mainpage (right now is only possible to create one group, not multiple). Coder can copy the code logic of the existing "Gallery settings for home page:" control to make job easier. Adding 2 controls that enable the webmaster to control how many category plugs appear in the similar posts section and in the right and left column of categories. The names of the controls can be "Category plugs in column:" and "Category plugs in Similar posts section". Watch image [login to view URL] On the Settings page, in case of category pages (for example [login to view URL]), webmaster will have a control to define how many plugs he/she wants. The name of the controls can be "Plugs per category:" and "Select plugs from latest". We can copy the same code logic of the existing controls (watch image [login to view URL]) Copying the same code logic of the "Similar posts" feature, we will replace the image slider that shows at the bottom of the big image pages with a "Random posts" section that will display plugs related to the category, instead of posts. (watch attached image [login to view URL]) The image slider can be replaced or moved to the top of the Big image.
