Online Social Network website build

This is a complicated and hard project. Please do not apply if you do don’t have the skills and ability to develop very detailed coding and develop complex social media websites. This is not a simple website build and I will be looking for someone who can demonstrate they have the ability to build this kind of site. I am prepared to pay for the right person, I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest quotation, allocating the job will be based on who can demonstrate the ability to develop this kind of website and those who can bring advice and creative spark to help turn an idea into a reality. So please don’t apply if you think you won’t be able to complete this role A legally-binding NDA will be put in place to ensure the idea is protected – so if you are not comfortable with this then please don’t apply. The Idea: My idea is of a new, themed social networking site. The finished site will be something between secondlife (my idea is no where near as complex as this so don’t panic) and Club Penguin. My virtual world will be small, with limited number of permanent residents, but unlimited visitors who can browse the virtual world. I will need someone who is able to create the front end of the website: the design of the site, its overall feel, the logo, create the images used in the site, develop the world itself, the characters etc. as well as being able to create the back-end functionality/coding/programming of the site to enable it to work reliably, fast and most importantly be able to be scalable (allow the site to easily grow in the future). The site I need built allows members to set up/customise their own area in the social network world. Permanent residents are by invitation only so not just anyone can be a permanent resident. However, anyone can join and browse the world of permanent residents – looking at limited information on these residents. If you want to unlock more functionality as a visitor, you have to pay a subscription. From this description you should see that I need a site which allows members to be invited to sign up for free and build a customised location (from a choice of options) – permanent residents can then invite friends by invitation only. • I need a member log in subscription payment integrated into the website • Chat and webcam abilities between members • Members should be allowed to upload pictures to their profile and share with other members • Inter-member chat and profile viewing is by request/invite only – so can only view bits of a person’s profile and message them to request to be allowed full entry. • A member currency system – where members can buy, trade and spend an online currency (so use real money to buy online currency, which credits an account, then spend this currency in the virtual world). • I need a back-end where I can change things like delete or block members, manage adverts, email members etc. etc. • All of this will be themed, so has to look different to facebook profiles, so its not just simple tables fields of data displayed on a screen, information will have to be displayed in a themed site kind of way – see club penguin as an example. • Obviously the site has to be very secure and hacker proof. I hope this gives enough information to get an idea of the scale of the project, and what’s needed. This is potentially a high value project, so I won’t respond to generic “I can do it please give me the job” cut and paste applications – as I want someone who is prepared to convince me why they are the best people to build this site. So if you have previous experience, and the skills to do this then let me know – like I said this project goes to the best person, not the cheapest, so you have to tell me why you can do the job or you won’t get it.
